My stay at the RV resort was a mixed bag. While there were some nice aspects like warm pools and attentive staff, the lack of effective communication about construction and reservations was frustrating. The location is great for accessing nearby attractions, but overall, I felt the experience could have been much better with improved customer service.

Rooms

The site was a bit small for our large RV, but we managed okay. The picnic table area was nice, although the ground was muddy in spots.
Service
5.0
The service was quite lacking, especially when dealing with the reservation issues. There was little effort to resolve problems or apologize for mistakes.
Location

The resort’s location is convenient for exploring Pike’s Peak and the surrounding areas, which was a definite plus.

The pools were warm and nice for evening swims, but the overall facilities felt pretty basic and not as up to par considering the price.

5.4/10

The RV park is conveniently located near many attractions, but be prepared to deal with ongoing construction that can make access tricky. While the setup is quite basic and the spaces are tight, we did enjoy connecting with fellow travelers and felt a sense of community. Overall, I would recommend it if you value location but be aware of the limitations due to construction and tight spots.

Getting in touch with the staff was quite a hassle; they are friendly but not very responsive when you need assistance.
Location

The RV park is very close to several attractions like Garden of the Gods, which is a big plus. However, the ongoing construction nearby makes entry and exit challenging.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
The facilities are straightforward, with a nice-sized pool, but the spaces between RVs are cramped with limited room for relaxation.

This RV park offers a clean and convenient base for exploring nearby attractions, though it lacks charm and privacy due to ongoing construction and close quarters. While we faced some challenges with our reserved site being changed, we appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the welcoming people we met during our stay. Overall, it might not be ideal for everyone, but it could be worth considering for future trips to Colorado Springs.

Rooms

The spots were quite close together, and the park felt a bit bare, but everything was clean.
Service

Although we had some issues with our reserved site being changed, the staff were accommodating and we met some great fellow campers.
Location

This park is situated near many attractions, making it a convenient stopping point, though the ongoing construction made it tricky to navigate in and out.

The park had basic facilities, but not much in the way of charm or amenities; it consisted mainly of gravel with limited landscaping.

6.0/10

I had a decent stay at the cottage, which was quiet and had a comfortable bed, but it was quite pricey for what I received. There were significant inconveniences like limited storage, few electrical outlets, and a few maintenance issues that detracted from my overall experience, especially given the high price point.

Rooms
6.0
The room was relatively small with very little storage space, and it had a few maintenance issues like cracked shower caulking and a faulty AC unit.
Service
6.0
While the staff was polite, I felt that there was a lack of proactive assistance, especially regarding water issues outside the cottage.
Location

The location was relatively quiet, which I appreciated, but it had water leaks in the parking lot that were inconvenient.
Dining
Facilities

The facilities had potential with a nice shower, but they were affected by maintenance issues and poor drainage.

I had an interesting stay at the campground, which had some standout features but also quite a few drawbacks. The location is close to attractions like Manitou Springs and Pike's Peak, and there were decent amenities available. On the downside, the park was pretty dirty, sites were cramped, and overall, I felt it was overpriced for what was offered.

Rooms

We stayed in a cabin that needed a deeper clean, as we found some leftover items from previous guests. The mattress was worn and not very comfortable, but we did appreciate the air conditioning.
Service

The staff was friendly, but nothing exceptional stood out about the service.
Location

The campground's location is great for visiting nearby attractions, making it very convenient for our weekend plans.

The facilities included a pool and good access to laundry, but they felt basic and weren't well-maintained.
